Having lived in a desert landscape for 15 years, I have seen landscape design grow from a miniscule concept to a highly productive industry. The potential of landscape design is reaching far greater heights and what inspires me the most about this multidimensional profession is that it offers the platform for making a difference from the ground level.

 

The future of landscape is driven by sustainable design strategies, which is at the forefront of my projects. Landscaping encourages me to appreciate sustainable farming (both organic and conventional) and by extension, the changing natural landscape. It has always been my aim to include energy efficient processes in design.

Understanding the power of landscape and the architecture of the physical landscape, is inevitably correlated to the understanding of natural design.

In the future, I want to carve out a niche in the field. I'm keen to do a deep exploration of this line of thought to explore landscape ranges across all scales, micro and macro, to generate sustainable architecture.
